I have been employed at Moran Printing, Inc. since 1986 and have more than 30 years of progressive experience in the commercial printing and graphics industry. Beginning in sales, I learned the industry thoroughly and eventually rose up through the ranks to become President and Chief Operating Officer of Moran/Emprint. Much of my time is devoted to the day to day operations at Moran/Emprint, but I have never lost touch with, and am actively a part of, the sales side of the business. I pride myself on my ability to multitask, moving seamlessly from production issues, finance issues, to technological challenges, and the marketing of Emprint services.
During my tenure at Moran/Emprint I have seen enormous change in our industry. I have played an integral part in Emprint’s move from offset printing to digital printing and now to electronic document management. Today we are a modern, web-to-print operation with over 70% of our business being handled by web-enabled transactions.

After spending several years pursuing a music career in my early 20’s, I had the privilege of joining Vetter Communications Company (Radio and TV Broadcasting) where I served in positions that included Business Manager in my early career, Executive VP and ultimately the role of President General Manager, spanning over an 18 year period. The experience that I gained in this role ultimately benefited me in my future business endeavors, and I owe a lot to the owner of Vetter Communications for taking me “under his wing”. The contacts I made in the community, banking, and vendor relationships have been instrumental and carried over to my current role. I joined the Emprint Team as President in 1994 with the dream of owning my own company. What I found was a tremendous, energetic, and capable leadership team at Emprint. Since the acquisition of the company in November 2001, I have worked with an amazing leadership team to develop and reinvent Emprint into the modern, technologically driven company that it has become today. As an active member of the team, I am considering that we have just begun!

I started my employment with Moran Printing, in December, 1995 as manager of Moran’s newly acquired facility management print shop at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA. We successfully converted the outdated Gulfstream Print Shop from a traditional offset shop to a high tech digital Printing facility. After serving 16 years in the Savannah location, I moved to Baton Rouge to assume my current role as Vice President of Operations and Sustainability. I currently manage our Production functions at our Commercial Printing Plant, our Digital Web facility and our Fulfillment Warehouse.
My printing career began right out of high school at a small shop in Savannah, Georgia. I started out putting up stock and making sigs for the Linotype. Later I opened my own printing business, which I ran for 10 years before selling it and teaching Graphic Arts in a High School setting.
I try to Make my Mark by investing myself in others. I’ve found the key to happiness is focusing out rather than in. What I enjoy most about my job is the wonderful people I have the honor to work with every day.
Moran Printing has been such an exciting place to work for all of my 21 years so far. Moran is a progressive, fast paced, fast growing company that keeps me constantly working to stay ahead of what we need next in order to meet customer requirements. We are a company that promotes integrity and delivers quality, day after day.

I joined Emprint in 1990, and was charged with modernizing prepress functions with computer technology. I left the company in early 2001 to work with an IT services company as a principal and returned to Emprint in late 2006 as the Chief Information Officer and have served in that capacity since.
I’ve watched Emprint evolve and grow for many years. My hope is that I have left a positive mark in the areas I’m responsible for. I am very proud of our technical teams, and the amazing work they do, past and present. If pressed for the most important thing I’ve contributed, I’d tell you it’s simply having the opportunity to work with such intelligent, dedicated and talented people.
Outside of the company I enjoy playing music and traveling. I like helping people, trying/learning new things, and having fun.
The leadership and overall direction of Emprint inspires me. I’ve witnessed a consistent dedication to excellence over many years. The result is a fantastic energy and integrity day-to-day in how we operate. I’m grateful to be involved.

I began my career with Moran Printing, Inc. in August 1979, when hired as a mechanical layout artist in composition. Working in both hot metal and cold type mediums, I assisted the department in advancing into a mainframe system and later into what is now known as Digital Prepress.
For over a decade I worked as a prepress night manager, implementing a digital service bureau, which transitioned Moran Printing from conventional printing in the pressroom into the digital marketplace.
Encouraged by management in 1999, I orchestrated the development of the production planning and estimating team leader division of prepress. As manager of this endeavor, I was able to aid Moran Printing into volume purchasing of printing papers and printing supplies.
In July, 2001 I became Director of Operations with an emphasis on procurement and developed contracts on annual purchasing volumes with various printing vendors. In 2005, I became Director of Human Resources and Procurement and VP/Secretary of the Corporation.

I began in the printing business over 30 years ago as a customer service representative. As I gained more knowledge and experience, I was promoted to management, eventually serving for five years as plant manager. Because I had such a wide range of experience in our industry, I was subsequently named State Government Liaison. In this role, I manage four major state contracts, which serve a variety of Louisiana state government agencies. I also help to provide the state’s universities with a variety of printing and graphics services. Over the years, I have become an expert on the state’s purchasing system, helping to ease various state entities through the appropriate state purchasing procedures.

I started working in the printing industry January 2008 as a Customer Service Representative. For 6 years I learned something new every day about printing, while providing support for clients. I quickly became fascinated by the process of printing and the finished products we could produce using PAPER. Our clients had needs and I wanted to be sure we met each and every one. In September 2013 I was moved into a Sales Executive position where I began to learn and grow even more along with the ever-growing industry. Printing allows our creativity to soar and the sky is the limit!
As VP of Arts & Culture for Forum 35 I spend my spare time being involved in many volunteer activities and helping to guide young professionals on their journey to making their own marks! I am lucky enough to have two amazing children that enjoy accompanying me to most volunteer events. Cultivating kindness one heart at a time.

Originally from Ohio, I moved to Lafayette and began selling printing over 30 years ago. For more than twenty of those years I was a printing sales representative at TriStar Graphics Group, which merged with Emprint in 2014. I’ve worked with everyone: corporations, medical, educational and community organizations, small businesses and non-profits. I’ve worked with in-house marketing departments and advertising agencies. I pride myself on my expertise, innovation, knowledge of what works and what doesn’t, and devotion to my clients.
I enjoy helping new clients with their print projects and coming up with unique, attention-grabbing ideas for my long-time customers. If you’re looking for a professional to partner with on your next printing project, give me a call. Let’s print!

I offer my clients the expertise that comes from my 25 years in the printing and graphic arts industries. I’m an alumnus of Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where I majored in Art. Following graduation, I moved to Jackson, Mississippi where I became a fashion illustrator for McRae’s Department Stores. As the years passed, I became a sales representative, first for a prepress service and then a printing firm. Having worked both as a graphic artist and as a printing sales representative, I have seen this industry from many angles. This has given me a unique insight into what the customer wants to achieve and how best to achieve it. Today, I am fortunate to be part of a company that is committed to merging the latest technology with old-world craftsmanship, giving our customers the highest quality products in the most economical and efficient manner possible.
